Everyone shops! We shop at supermarkets, department stores, specialty stores, music stores, toy stores, bookstores, and more. We go to the movies, eat at restaurants and fast-food chains, rent videos, and put gasoline in our cars. Wouldn't it be great if the money spent for these purchases could translate into financial support for our school? Now it can!
Simply purchase gift certificates and gift cards through L.I.S.G. at face value and our school earns a percentage of each sale. It's that simple.
There is no minimum order. Select from the participating merchants' list. Choose as many merchants as you would like. The list is comprehensive and includes stores that are located throughout the country. Sending a gift to a friend or relative in another state is easier than ever. Send a note to the school office indicating which gift certificates you would like. Be sure to include the merchants' names and the denominations for each one. Include your check made payable to the Long Island School for the Gifted for the full face value of all of the certificates you have ordered. Orders will be processed on the 1 st and 15 th of each month. Please allow 7-10 days from the processing date for the certificates to be returned to you.. Orders will be sent home with your child or, if you indicate so, you will be able to pick them up in the office. We will not send any gift certificates through the mail. Gift certificates are cash equivalent - lost or stolen certificates cannot be replaced. If you have any questions, please call Mrs. Cohen.
